UX/Content Strategist

Job Description

Our tech client is experiencing rapid growth across all capabilities in their downtown office Boston. They are currently seeking a Content Strategy Consultant to join their team on a long-term basis to guide planning activities and identify potential issues and risks for overall project timing and control.

You’ll be responsible for developing content strategy to guide planning activities and identify potential issues and risks for overall project timing and quality. You will evaluate current content and identify ways to manage and structure engaging materials. Working closely with leadership and creative, you’ll identify content types, attributes, and metadata required to support internal and external site content.

Other position responsibilities…

- Conducting content audits and mapping to identify content gaps and proposing future content for development
- Participating in pitches/presentations, providing support materials for client including content strategy
- Evaluating taxonomy and soliciting input from key stakeholders to develop a robust and flexible label taxonomy of topics
- Defining approach for content migration by utilizing both manual or automated tools
- Collaborating with clients and end-users in order to gather requirements and translate plans into effective, user-centered interactive experiences
- Contributing knowledge, research, and insight to the user experience and creative communities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English or related industry field
  • 2+ years experience as a content strategist or in an integrated marketing environment (or similar role).
  • Experience working in a consulting firm environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of content strategy
  • Experience in client services
  • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
