Job Description

UX and branding agency in San Francisco and Boston is seeking a forward-thinking, thought-provoking user experience creative. This talented individual with focus on strategy, research and human-centered design for some big brand products in different industries. The right person will understand how users interact with information and can deliver strategic, intuitive, innovative, yet wonderfully simple solutions. Specifics can include: - Develop interaction and IA deliverables (such as, site maps, user scenarios, wireframes, mental models, personas, interaction specifications and prototypes) for a variety of user interfaces including full sites, mobile apps, and business tools - Conduct all UX activities including interviews, ideation, studies and possibly other user research to help inform user-centered insights for deliverables - Working with dynamic team under leadership while helping grow relationships with clients through creating great products - Develop prototypes demonstrating concepts to business owners for validation with end-users - Collaborate with clients and end-users to gather business requirements and translate into user-centered interactive experiences - Participate in presentations, provide support materials including research and design Coming in with an understanding of design processes and interaction principles will be crucial to your success working closely with senior strategists and product owners.   • Bachelor’s degree in a design or human factors related discipline
  • 4+ years experience as part of an agency or in-house studio team
  • Contributing knowledge, research, and insight to user experience communities
  • Experience leading larger-scale UX initiatives
  • Prototyping tools experience including Axure, Omnigraffle, Adobe CS, and/or iRise
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, communication and collaboration skills with external and internal teams alike
  • Adept at primary, secondary research methodologies and drive experience strategy
