Account Manager – Digital Strategist

Job Description

Mid-sized digital agency located in the heart of Boston’s Seaport district is seeking an Account Manager/DigitalStrategist for their growing team.

The Account Director owns the client relationships and oversees delivery of digital customer experience initiatives. Dedicated client growth, satisfaction, quality of work and profitability, along with leading internal team members in aligning account plans and roadmaps with delivery excellence to achieve great outcomes.

As a leader in the strategic delivery team, you will be involved in ensuring account, team and company growth through delighted clients, improving delivery processes and motivated team members executing strategic engagements.

Other Responsibilities:
> Drive new business within accounts; write proposals, collaborating with internal stakeholders to validate all potential solutions, scopes, schedules, and costs
> Lead the team in defining priorities and navigating obstacles on projects
> Set and manage client expectations on scope, timeline, and budget in partnership with project managers
> Collaborate on the creation of great work by inspiring teams; review work under development to ensure alignment with client expectations and standards – be a client advocate internally
> Proactively mitigate financial risks and escalate issues that impact budget
> Assist with go-to-market plans for new marketing, services, and solution offerings
> Participate in proposal development and sales pitches to active and emerging major accounts

Qualifications
  • 4+ years of business, account/project management in an agency setting
  • CMS experience with Sitecore, AEM or similar platform
  • Comfortable leading small team
  • Familiarity with large CMS engagements
  • Experience growing customer relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of the digital industry and the evolving role of consulting agencies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
  • A love for change management and continuous improvement
  • Experience managing proposals and scopes for $1MM+ accounts
  • Able to travel regionally up to 20%.
