    Job Description

    Our tech client is experiencing rapid growth across all capabilities in their downtown office Boston. They are currently seeking a Content Strategy Consultant to join their team on a long-term basis to guide planning activities and identify potential issues and risks for overall project timing and control.

    You’ll be responsible for developing content strategy to guide planning activities and identify potential issues and risks for overall project timing and quality. You will evaluate current content and identify ways to manage and structure engaging materials. Working closely with leadership and creative, you’ll identify content types, attributes, and metadata required to support internal and external site content.

    Other position responsibilities…

    - Conducting content audits and mapping to identify content gaps and proposing future content for development
    - Participating in pitches/presentations, providing support materials for client including content strategy
    - Evaluating taxonomy and soliciting input from key stakeholders to develop a robust and flexible label taxonomy of topics
    - Defining approach for content migration by utilizing both manual or automated tools
    - Collaborating with clients and end-users in order to gather requirements and translate plans into effective, user-centered interactive experiences
    - Contributing knowledge, research, and insight to the user experience and creative communities

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Communications, English or related industry field
    • 2+ years experience as a content strategist or in an integrated marketing environment (or similar role).
    • Experience working in a consulting firm environment is preferred.
    • Strong understanding of content strategy
    • Experience in client services
    • Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills

    Job Description

    Forward-thinking technology company in Boston is seeking an accomplished, thought-provoking UX Strategist.
    Develop interaction and IA deliverables (such as, site maps, user scenarios, wireframes, mental models, personas, interaction specifications and prototypes) for a variety of user interfaces including full sites, mobile apps, kiosks and business tools. The User Experience pro will conduct all UX activities including interviews, ideation, studies and possibly other user research to help inform user-centered insights for deliverables.

    Coming in with an understanding of design processes and interaction principles will be crucial to your success working closely with senior-level players. This is very much a collaborative team environment dedicated to connecting/creating high-quality materials within budgeted timeframes, is regularly engaged in the developments of the user experience community and will go the extra mile to ensure client satisfaction.

    Other responsibilities include...
    - Create the information architecture and interaction design for transactional, informational, and marketing user experiences including intranets, extranets, micro-sites, web applications, mobile applications and business tools
    - Create and document detailed user experience specifications for highly interactive interfaces
    - Develop prototypes demonstrating concepts to business owners for validation with end-users
    - Conduct end-user research, prototype testing, and usability testing
    - Translate insight created from research and client input into IA deliverables (wireframes, task flows, sketches, interaction specifications)
    - Collaborate with clients and end-users to gather business requirements and translate into user-centered interactive experiences
    - Participate in presentations, provide support materials including research and design

    Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Computer Science, etc.)
    • 4+ years experience as an information architect, experience/interactive design in a creative studio or consulting firm environment
    • Demonstrated ability to produce meaningful and effective design artifacts for complex transactional interfaces, taxonomies and metadata frameworks, and templates for content management systems
    • Contributing knowledge, research, and insight to user experience communities Prototyping tools experience including Axure, Omnigraffle, Adobe CS, and/or iRise
    • High level of comfortability in communicating and presenting skills
